Shiplu Desk: Everyday Tools (“Shiplu Desk”, “the App”) is developed and published by SHIPLU ENTERPRISE (“we”, “us” or “our”).
We respect your privacy and believe that a simple utility app should not need to collect your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, where it is stored, how it is used and how you can manage or delete it.
2. Our Privacy Approach
Shiplu Desk is designed to work offline and keep your information on your device.
The App does not require an account or registration. It does not contain advertisements, analytics or crash-reporting services.
We do not operate servers that receive or store information entered into the App. We do not collect, sell, rent or share your personal information.
The App is designed without the Android INTERNET permission and does not communicate with our servers or transmit your information over the internet.

– Grand Total values maintained temporarily during calculator use.

– Placeholder fields used in your snippets.
– Usage counts used to organise frequently used snippets.

This information is used only to operate the App’s features. SHIPLU ENTERPRISE does not receive or access this locally stored information.
5. How We Use Your Information
Information entered into Shiplu Desk is processed locally on your device.
It is used exclusively to:
– Perform calculations and display results.
– Maintain your calculation history.
– Create and manage reminders.
– Save, organise, copy and share text snippets when requested.
– Create and manage reusable checklists.
– Remember your app preferences.
We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, behavioural tracking or marketing.
6. Information Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, trade or disclose your personal information to third parties.
The App does not include advertising networks, analytics platforms or third-party services designed to collect your personal information.
Some features allow you to initiate an action outside the App:
– Copy: Places the selected text on your device’s clipboard so you can paste it elsewhere.
– Share: Opens Android’s sharing interface so you can choose another app to receive the text you selected.
These actions happen at your request. Any information you choose to transfer is then handled by the destination app according to its own privacy policy.
We do not control how other apps handle information you choose to share with them.
7. App Permissions
Shiplu Desk is designed to operate without requesting Android runtime permissions.
It does not require access to:
– The internet.
– Your location.
– Your contacts.
– Your camera or microphone.
– Your photos or media.
– Your device’s general file storage.
– Your phone or SMS services.
The App’s features are designed to work without these permissions.
8. Reminders and Notifications
The reminder feature is entirely internal to Shiplu Desk.
Reminders appear within the App, including on the home screen and in the Reminders section.
The App does not schedule Android notifications, create alarms or run background reminder services.
You need to open the App to view your reminders.
9. Clipboard and Sharing
When you select the Copy option for a text snippet, the selected text is placed on your device’s clipboard.
Shiplu Desk does not read or monitor clipboard contents.
When you use the Share option, Android displays the available sharing destinations. You decide whether and where to send the selected text.
Information shared through another application is subject to that application’s privacy practices.
10. Data Security
Your locally stored information is protected by Android’s application sandbox, which separates one application’s private storage from other applications.
We do not maintain a remote database containing your personal information.
However, no method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Your device’s security also depends on its operating system, configuration and physical protection.
We recommend keeping your Android device updated and using a screen lock to protect access to your information.
11. Android Backup and Device Transfers
Depending on your Android device settings and the App’s backup configuration, Android may include application data in device backups or device-to-device transfers.
Such backups may be managed by Android or Google under your device and Google account settings.
SHIPLU ENTERPRISE does not operate these backup services and does not receive or have access to your personal Google account backups.
You can review your device’s backup settings to understand whether application data is included in backups and manage those settings according to your preferences.
12. Data Retention and Deletion
Your information remains stored locally for as long as you choose to keep it in Shiplu Desk.
You can:
– Delete individual reminders.
– Remove saved text snippets.
– Delete checklists and their items.
– Clear calculator history.
– Use the Erase All Data option in the App’s Settings to delete locally saved calculation history, reminders, text snippets and checklists, and reset the preferred pack size. Your selected theme preference is not reset by this option.
You may also uninstall the App to remove its local application data.
Please note that data previously included in an Android or Google device backup may remain in that backup according to the backup provider’s retention and deletion practices.
We do not retain a separate server-side copy of your information. Therefore, there is no account or remote user data that needs to be deleted by contacting us.
13. Children’s Privacy
Shiplu Desk is a general-purpose productivity application and is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.
Because the App does not operate a user registration system or collect personal information, we do not maintain personal profiles of children.

14. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, applicable privacy laws may provide rights concerning your personal information, including the right to access, correct or delete it.
Shiplu Desk is designed to keep user-entered information under your control on your device.
